Job description

Piper Life Sciences is actively seeking Biochemistry Scientist to work at a large global biopharmaceutical company in the greater Philadelphia, PA area.

Responsibilities for Scientist – Biochemistry :

Develop, validate and execute cell-based and plate-based assays within biochemistry
Conduct cell-based assays, plate-based assays, and other assays including ELISAs, and qPCR
Perform data analysis, ensure proper GMP documentation, and conduct peer review of data
Identify deviations, conduct investigations, determine root cause analysis and implement CAPAs
Collect data from studies to interpret findings, write summary reports, and analyze data for accuracy

Technical Requirements for Scientist – Biochemistry :

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or in biology, biochemistry, or related field plus 4+ years of experience in cell-based and plate-based assays in a GMP environment

Hands on experience with analytical test methods and technologies including ELISA and qPCR

Excellent organizational skills and proven experience working in a fast-paced environment
