Job Overview: Pay Range: $18hr - $23hr Requirement/Must Have: High School diploma or G.E.D. is required. Basic mechanical and computer skills are required. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Basic math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, compute percentages and work with decimals. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to operate in a clean room environment with full body gowning. Experience with chemical handling and safety protocols. Adherence to strict grooming standards: no jewelry (except wedding bands), makeup, hair spray, or perfume. Comfortable working with biological materials including cow hide. Proficiency working with computers. Responsibilities: Operate various pieces of computer-controlled equipment including swiss lathes, automated parts washer, grinders, honing, centerless grinder, and supporting tools. Use measurement equipment to machine various components to established specifications and requirements. Complete tasks including dimensional and visual inspections per print specifications including First Article inspections. Perform operations as described by Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) under Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Demonstrate consistently effective job performance encompassing quality, productivity, and dependability. Accurately record and enter required information and data into manufacturing documentation and computers. Maintain quality inspection data and individual training records. Ensure personal and company compliance with all federal, state, local, and company regulations, policies and procedures for Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance. Maintain compliance with ISO and FDA regulations. Complete all applicable training requirements. Nice to Have: Working knowledge with Citizen Lathes, Haas Grinders, Sunnen Hone, Centerless Grinders, and Fanuc Robotics. Knowledge and experience working with computer-controlled equipment. Precision machining experience. Experience working with the inspection and functional testing of manufactured components. Experience working with medical products. Experience working in a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) or another regulated environment. Ability to perform basic troubleshooting on various types of machine equipment. Ability to perform and record measurements using dial indicators, depth micrometers, verniers, shadowgraph, and gauges. Skills: Swiss Lathes. Automated Parts Washer. Grinders. Honing. Ability to stand and sit for extended periods of time. Ability to work in a manufacturing/machine shop environment. Ability to lift and/or move 25 pounds frequently.
