Position Summary

The Morgridge College of Education is looking to hire adjunct instructors for the 2024-2025 academic year to teach a variety of graduate courses in the Library and Information Science department. Courses may vary. More information about the courses can be found on the Registrar's Office schedule of classes at https : / / www.du.edu / registrar / course / scheduleofclasses.html . This posting will serve for multiple openings throughout the 2024-2025 academic year.

Essential Functions

Course Adjunct Faculty Responsibilities :

• Teach in person or online once a week;
• Create and maintain course Canvas container for the onsite courses;
• Meet with students as needed to support their success;
• Provide assignment feedback and grades to students in a timely manner;
• Respond to emails from students and program leadership within 48 business hours
• Participate in recruiting and informational events as needed.

Work Schedule

While the University's administrative offices are open Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 am - 4 : 30 pm, faculty schedules vary from term to term and are based on courses taught, service commitments, and research agendas. Course Rate

1,193 per credit hour taught
