If you perform well in a fast-paced, engaging, and collaborative environment, and would like to work with a diverse team of industry professionals, we encourage you to learn more about ICF (www.icf.com) and consider applying to join our team.ICF is seeking a Senior Wildlife Biologist to support projects in Northern California.What You Will DoConduct desktop analyses and prepare biological study reportsPrepare CEQA and NEPA biological resource chapters and associated technical reports (such as, Biological Assessment to support Federal ESA consultation)Independently and collaboratively perform field surveys for special-status species, natural communities and habitats.Collect and synthesize data and support GIS deliverablesPrepare proposals and manage small to medium projectsMaintain close communication with project manager and co-workersWhat You Must HaveBS in Biology, Ecology, or Natural Sciences with an emphasis in wildlife biology5+ years of experience conducting biological surveys in CaliforniaTeam player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environmentMust have valid driver’s license and successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) checkWhat We’d Like You to HaveStrong knowledge of California wildlife species and associated habitats and survey methodologyFamiliarity with GPS mapping technologyExperience working on PG&E, Caltrans, and broadband fiber projectsConstruction monitoring experienceStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities, including ability to identify existing or potential problems and recommend solutionsThis is an outstanding opportunity to work with talented and passionate individuals and to grow with a firm that believes in nurturing talent and developing long-term career success.
