Description

Teach transferable, entry-level lectures and / or laboratories in Majors or Non-majors Biology

Develop syllabi and course materials as directed by the Lead Faculty Member and / or Lab Coordinator

Evaluate student mastery of skills and competencies required by course outcomes

Required Qualifications for teaching Lectures

Masters degree in Biological Sciences or a closely-related field from an accredited College or University

Experience teaching General Biology Lectures

Ability to use educational technologies such as Learning Management Systems and PowerPoint

Ability and willingness to use email for official communications

Required Qualifications for teaching Labs

Bachelors degree in Biological Sciences or a closely-related field from an accredited College or University

Experience teaching General Biology labs or experience in a laboratory situation

Ability to use educational technologies such as Learning Management Systems and PowerPoint

Ability and willingness to use email for official communications

Salary

$925.00 per lecture credit hour. Credits will vary by semester. $46.25 per hour for labs.
