Seeking a Molding Engineer to support thermoplastic injection molding operations in a medical device cleanroom environment. This role will focus on process development, troubleshooting, validation, and continuous improvement while supporting production and new product launches.
Key Responsibilities
• Troubleshoot and support injection molding production processes
• Develop and optimize molding parameters and cycle times
• Support process validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ)
• Assist with New Product Introduction (NPI) and mold qualifications
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
• Partner with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to improve yield and reduce scrap
• Maintain cleanroom and documentation compliance
• Develop and optimize molding parameters and cycle times
• Support process validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ)
• Assist with New Product Introduction (NPI) and mold qualifications
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
• Partner with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to improve yield and reduce scrap

Requirements
? Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
? 2+ years of injection molding or plastics processing experience
? Experience in medical device or regulated manufacturing environments
? Knowledge of ISO 13485, FDA, or GMP standards
? Experience with process troubleshooting and optimization
? 2+ years of injection molding or plastics processing experience
? Experience in medical device or regulated manufacturing environments
? Knowledge of ISO 13485, FDA, or GMP standards
? Experience with process troubleshooting and optimization
Preferred
? Master Molder certification
? Experience supporting NPI or mold qualifications
? Familiarity with Lean / Six Sigma
? Exposure to tooling or mold design
