Job description1–4 years of software engineering experience - startup experience is a bonus, not a must. Strong coding skills and engineering fundamentals - regardless of your major, school, or last company. Hands-on use with AI / LLM tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, etc. Excellent communication skills - you’ll be talking to customers directly. A self-starter mindset - you thrive in fast-paced environments with minimal hand-holding. Willingness to be fully in-office in San Francisco - this is non-negotiable. Side projects, GitHub activity, or anything that shows you love to build. Experience in customer-facing roles or high-context problem-solving. Curiosity, hustle, and that "I’ll figure it out" energy.

Ready to build something from the ground up? We’re working with an AI startup in San Francisco that’s using LLMs to rethink how humans and machines interact with maps - and they’re looking for their next foundational hire.
This is your chance to be Engineer #4 at a company backed by real traction, a healthy sales pipeline, and a strong technical founding team. You’ll work side-by-side with two seasoned founders and a sharp engineer (the current “blueprint” hire) to help deliver AI-powered products directly to paying customers.
