We pride ourselves on our skilled and professional team who keep our equipment operating efficiently and safely. We are currently seeking a Heavy Equipment Field Technician with a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) to join our team.
As a Heavy Equipment Field Technician, you will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and service of various heavy equipment in the field. You will work with a range of construction and industrial machinery and equipment. Your role will include diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, performing repairs, and ensuring all equipment operates safely and effectively. A key part of this role is traveling to client sites with a service vehicle, so a CDL is required.
Responsibilities :
- Diagnose and troubleshoot heavy equipment issues in the field, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems.
- Perform necessary repairs and maintenance on heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections on equipment according to the manufacturer's recommendations and safety protocols.
- Operate service vehicle safely and efficiently, transporting tools, parts, and other necessary equipment to job sites.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, explaining repairs and maintenance work completed.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, equipment technologies, and repair techniques.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures and comply with local and state regulations.
