Job descriptionBasic knowledge of biomedical equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Familiarity with electrical and mechanical systems related to medical devices. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical manuals and safety guidelines. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team. Effective communication skills to provide technical support and document service activities. Associates Degree. Must have graduated from The DoD Biomedical Maintenance Course or an accredited civilian Biomedical Maintenance Course. Minimum 4 years of field experience in performing and managing : initial inspections, calibrations, diagnostics, maintenance, life cycle management, and repair of medical equipment within OEM guidance, advanced : diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of medical and non-medical support equipment (oxygen generating systems, radiographic diagnostics equipment, advanced life support systems, etc.). Must have a minimum of two BMETs upon contract award who have completed the Planmeca Digital Dental course; remaining ANG BMETs must have graduated from the Planmeca Digital Dental course no later than 12 months of contract award. Must have a Secret clearance Advanced degree in a related field.

Summary :
Apex is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician II.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions :
- Life cycle management, diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of medical and non-medical support equipment (oxygen generating systems, radiographic diagnostics equipment, life support systems, etc.).
- Determines associated support items of equipment in order to perform scheduled services and maintenance repairs and calibration; supply support and provisioning requirements; and training requirements.
- Prepares necessary support documentation and purchase requisitions of parts.
- In addition to BMET level I duties.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay and Benefits
The annual salary range for this position is $77,542 to $96,928.
