JOB DETAILS :

MT needed ASAPDuration : 13 weeksShift : 9 hrs, 36 GWW; Mids, 3p-11 : 30p, weekends required

• First 3 weeks are training on day shift M-F 6 : 30am-3pm or 7 : 30am-4pm depending on training section; plus 1 weekend training day
• Generalist. Blood Bank, Chem, Hemo experience preferredASCP
• Instrument experience for the following preferred : Beckman Chemistry, Sysmex hematology, Manual diffs, Blood bank manual testing experience, Gel crossmatch, LIS Sytem-Cerner Performs diagnostic testing on patient samples to aid physicians in the diagnosis and / or monitoring of various disease states. Follows standardized procedures and helps prepare samples for testing. Analyzes test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits. Requires a bachelor's degree and must be a certified medical technologist. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A limited degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a manager or supervisor.
