GENERAL DUTIES
Equipment Care :
- Maintains, repairs all dialysis machines and water treatment equipment at a facility. Ensure these systems are running properly and the equipment is working according to strict specifications. Repair or replace parts as necessary and make sure the machine is working according to specifications.
- May perform preventative maintenance and repair dialysis machines. Performs maintenance checks on the machines after appropriate hours of use or as designated. Follow equipment manufactures specifications and hospital policies and procedures.
- Dismantles, cleans, disinfects / sterilizes dialysis machines and ancillary medical equipment.
- Maintains support documentation as required.
- Monitors R.O. system, log sheets for completeness and accuracy, noting any deviations.
- Assists with performing electrical safety assurance, performance testing on all dialysis machines and related electrical equipment as required.
