A company is looking for a Senior Counsel - Biotech Patent Attorney.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a global intellectual property strategy for therapeutic products
Work with scientists to identify patentable inventions and draft patent applications
Provide legal advice on IP matters and assist with litigation-related activities
Required Qualifications
J.D. or LL.M. degree from an accredited law school and admission to practice in a U.S. jurisdiction
Registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office
Four years of experience in patent or intellectual property law in the biopharma or life sciences sector
Preferred : Ten years of experience in the same field, including pre-JD experience as a patent agent
Advanced degree in biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology, immunology, or organic chemistry is preferred
