Immediate opening for a Planner with a biotech company in Carlsbad, CA who possesses : -5-7 years in a planner position working in manufacturing ISO experience-Experience with GMP-Bilingual in Spanish is a huge plus Email resumes to mlowe@ FULL DESCRIPTION : Our client is seeking an experienced Planner to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The selected candidate will be responsible for : -Production Scheduling : Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demands, optimize resources, and minimize downtime.-Cross-Department Coordination : Collaborate with procurement, production, quality, and logistics teams to ensure accurate planning and timely execution of projects.-Inventory Management : Monitor material usage and stock levels to ensure availability while minimizing overstock.-Compliance and Documentation : Ensure all planning and scheduling activities align with ISO standards and GMP requirements. Maintain detailed records for audits and regulatory compliance.-Process Improvement : Analyze workflows and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements, contributing to the continuous improvement of planning processes.-Risk Management : Anticipate potential production challenges and develop contingency plans to address bottlenecks or delays.-Reporting : Generate and present weekly and monthly performance reports on production schedules, material usage, and on-time delivery metrics. The selected candidate will also possess : -Experience : 5-7 years of planning and scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment.-Technical Skills : Proficiency with ERP / MRP systems (, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Excel skills.-Regulatory Knowledge : Familiarity with ISO standards (ISO 13485 preferred) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).-Education : Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred.-Problem-Solving Skills : Ability to analyze complex scenarios and implement practical solutions.-Communication Skills : Strong verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams effectively.-Detail-Oriented : High attention to detail with strong organizational skills.-Experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment (pharmaceutical, medical device, or food manufacturing).-Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.-Certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or a similar credential.
