Role : Project Executive – Life Science / BioTech
Location : Boston, MA
Compensation : $175,000 - $225,000+ DOE
POSITION SUMMARY : One of New England’s top Construction companies is looking to expand their Life Science / BioTech group with the addition of a seasoned Project Engineer. Their ideal candidate is someone who has a proven track record as a Project Executive, and has worked on a variety of projects within the Life Science space. If this sounds like you, please read on!
DUTIES AND CORE RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Manage projects with a “client first” approach
- Establish strong relationships with vendors and subcontractors
- Develop and provide growth opportunities for the internal teams
- Manage RFP process and responses
- Help establish and have full understanding of Owner Contract terms and Conditions
- Monitor and review preconstruction spending
- Procure and review any special insurance and / or bond requirements
- Oversee timely closeout of each project
- Monitor the contractual risk transfer (CRT) of each project verifying all scopes, contracts, insurance certificate
- Review and approve all budget setups and updates
- Review GC / GR projections and adjustments
- Manage and track costs-to-date on a weekly basis. Maintain a clear understanding of all financial aspects of the project
- Review and approve all monthly Requisitions
- Monitor payment status in accordance with the Owner’s Contract
- Review procurement log / status on a regular basis with project team and assist as necessary. Identify training needs of staff
