The ideal candidate will bring a proven background in appellate advocacy, exceptional legal writing and research skills, and a strong commitment to representing plaintiffs’ interests.

This role offers the opportunity to work on significant cases impacting client outcomes across the State of Florida.

Focus :

  • Handle all aspects of appellate cases, including legal research, brief writing, and oral arguments.
  • Provide legal trial support to attorneys during active trials.
  • Collaborate with trial attorneys to review motions and filings, including summary judgment and post-judgment matters.
  • Conduct in-depth legal analysis and strategic case development for appeals.
  • Draft persuasive legal briefs, memoranda, and other filings in appellate proceedings.
  • Present oral arguments before state and federal appellate courts.
  • Stay current on changes in appellate law and provide guidance to junior attorneys and staff.
  • Skill Set :

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school required.
  • Must hold an active membership in good standing with the Florida Bar.
  • At least 5 years of experience in appellate litigation, preferably representing plaintiffs.
  • Demonstrated prowess in legal research, writing, and analysis.
  • Proven track record of oral advocacy and successful appellate arguments.
  • Ability to independently manage a significant caseload and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high standards of legal practice.
  • Strong teamwork skills, capable of collaborating effectively with colleagues and providing mentorship to junior legal staff.
