Focus :
Handle all aspects of appellate cases, including legal research, brief writing, and oral arguments.
Provide legal trial support to attorneys during active trials.
Collaborate with trial attorneys to review motions and filings, including summary judgment and post-judgment matters.
Conduct in-depth legal analysis and strategic case development for appeals.
Draft persuasive legal briefs, memoranda, and other filings in appellate proceedings.
Present oral arguments before state and federal appellate courts.
Stay current on changes in appellate law and provide guidance to junior attorneys and staff.
Skill Set :
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school required.
Must hold an active membership in good standing with the Florida Bar.
At least 5 years of experience in appellate litigation, preferably representing plaintiffs.
Demonstrated prowess in legal research, writing, and analysis.
Proven track record of oral advocacy and successful appellate arguments.
Ability to independently manage a significant caseload and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high standards of legal practice.
Strong teamwork skills, capable of collaborating effectively with colleagues and providing mentorship to junior legal staff.
