JOB SUMMARY
: The primary function of the Body Shop Technician is to perform body work on customer equipment in a superior and thorough manner.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to read, write, and comprehend English instructions and information. High school diploma or the equivalent. Excellent organization and communication skills. Two years’ experience as a vehicle body repair technician or apprentice. Working knowledge of body repair methods. Valid driver’s license. Ability to interpret vendor catalogs.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
This is a physically demanding position. Will stand six to eight hours per shift. Will stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, handle and feel. Will lift parts weighing up to 50 pounds. Will be exposed to noise, vibration, dust, exhaust fumes, paint, and other hazardous and nonhazardous materials.
