The Marketing department develops and implements creative marketing campaigns including advertising, social media, and bookstore displays. Marketers work closely with sales to learn what’s happening in the market and, to help them promote and share their enthusiasm about books and writers.
Some responsibilities may include :
- Researching new media contacts, influencer, and brand partnerships for title marketing campaigns
- Collaborating with the team to create content for author and imprint social media platforms
- Assisting in select marketing book mailings (remotely)
- Attending team meetings to help brainstorm promotional opportunities for titles
INTERNSHIP PROGRAM DETAILS
Penguin Random House offers a 10-week PAID, REMOTE internship opportunity available in our adult, children’s, and corporate divisions. Interns are exposed to the publishing process and our business through panels, networking events, and employee speaker series!
Summer interns work for 28 hours per week and are paid $21 / hour.
What you study does not matter! We are looking for your desire to work with books, your drive to learn and your curiosity for the publishing industry.
