Business Office Director
A growing 144-bed behavioral health facility Metropolitan Behavioral Hospital provides a full continuum of inpatient services across the entire patient population, including specialty programs to serve adolescents, adults and older adults, and perform behavioral health assessments 24 hours a day. Additionally, programs for co-occurring behavioral health and substance use issues are offered to meet the unique needs of this patient population. The facility provides a robust outpatient program utilizing a combination of group, family and individual therapy.
Position Summary: The Business Office Director is responsible for ensuring the efficient operations of the Business Office to include an accurate, timely and consistent performance of all functions pertaining to patient accounting (including patient account maintenance, billing and collection management), admissions processing and accounts receivable. The BOD also manages and supervises the reception desk and the Admission Coordinators.

Qualifications: Job Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field required, with HFMA certification preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of two (2) years' experience in a multi-faceted business office preferably in a healthcare setting, medical billing knowledge, and with one (1) year supervisory/management experience preferred. Must have Full Revenue Cycle Management experience.
- Additional Requirements: Experience with computers and business software programs, particularly Excel.
