Responsibilities

• Ensure employee safety and compliance with federal, state, or local regulations (DOT, EPA, OSHA, etc.).
• Review and analyze monthly profit and loss statements, manage purchases to optimize inventory and costs.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships; ensure proper contract and reservation documentation; communicate issues and improvements promptly.
• Implement and oversee maintenance programs for all equipment; conduct monthly safety meetings.
• Delegate tasks, monitor work efficiency, train employees, and document performance improvements.
• Manage logistics for equipment delivery and pickup; ensure equipment safety, readiness, and proper documentation (PDI, inspections, etc.).
• Follow company procedures for AR, AP, credit, HR, safety, purchasing, and billing; train staff accordingly.
• Maintain appropriate staffing levels, conduct performance reviews, and manage payroll.
• Possess broad knowledge of Duke Rentals equipment and capabilities.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Experience & Skills

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• CDL preferred but not required.
• 3-5 years management experience, ideally in rental equipment, logistics, or construction industries.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean MVR.
• Proven operational management, customer service, team leadership, and financial achievement skills.
• Strong understanding of equipment rental industry, budgeting, KPIs, and operational standards.
• Excellent communication, attention to detail, multitasking in fast-paced environments.

Physical Work Conditions

• Potential exposure to noise, trip hazards, chemicals (battery acid, grease, etc.), and varying climates.
• Occasional lifting of parts / tools weighing up to 100 lbs.

Schedule & Location

• Monday to Friday, 6 : 30 AM to 5 PM (additional hours possible)
• Moorhead, MN. Must be able to commute or plan to relocate.
