Senior AP Consulting Manager

LHH is assisting with a search for a Senior AP Consulting Manager for a client in Overland Park, KS to assist with an implementation project for 3-6 months with potential for extension. Pay for this role is competitive based on experience. We are looking for someone with experience in SAP software and Accounts Payable management. This role will be a hybrid schedule working 1 day on-site / week. Read below for additional details!

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Oversee and support all aspects of operational accounting, with a primary focus on accounts payable and development accounting for active construction projects.
• Serve as a key resource for process improvement, identifying and implementing recommendations to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the accounts payable cycle.
• Collaborate closely with internal accounting and finance teams to resolve invoice issues, ensure proper equipment tracking, and streamline workflows.
• Identify gaps in system efficiencies and areas to upskill the current team.
• Act as a partner to the senior manager and provide support during periods of organizational transition, reporting directly to the department head during leadership absences.
