Job Title : Building Maintenance Technician
Job Description
This position is for a Building Maintenance Technician responsible for ensuring the functionality and safety of facilities through regular maintenance, repairs, and improvements. This role requires a blend of mechanical knowledge, customer service skills, and the ability to work with various maintenance systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on buildings and equipment to ensure optimal functioning.
- Supervise maintenance staff and coordinate repair schedules to minimize disruption.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and inventory.
- Fabricate parts as necessary to maintain equipment and systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair logic controllers and other automated systems.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Conduct welding tasks as needed for repairs or fabrications.
- Use an ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools to assess electrical systems.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing tenant concerns promptly and professionally.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Naperville, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00 / hr.
