Job Description:
Our client is seeking a skilled Business Analyst specializing in process documentation to support cross-functional teams in capturing, formalizing, and maintaining business processes. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a structured approach to documenting workflows using Microsoft Visio, Teams, and SharePoint. This hybrid role will be based in Houston or Midland with occasional travel required.Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with teams to gather and document current-state processes via interviews, workshops, and remote sessions
  • Produce clear and accurate flowcharts, process maps, and SOPs using Microsoft Visio
  • Organize and manage process documentation in SharePoint with version control and accessibility standards
  • Ensure compliance with established documentation formats and organizational standards
  • Partner with SMEs to validate documentation aligns with actual business practices
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field – or – equivalent experience (5+ years in a directly related role)
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Business Analyst, Technical Writer, or Process Analyst capacity
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint
  • Excellent interviewing and communication skills to elicit information from subject matter experts
  • Strong attention to detail with a structured approach to documentation
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with BPMN standards
  • Experience managing structured SharePoint libraries
  • Background in regulated or compliance-heavy industries
