Description

Role Mission : In the absence of the classroom teacher, the substitute teacher provides instruction and manages the learning environment. The substitute is responsible for always ensuring student safety by actively supervising scholars while maintaining a positive environment. This position reports directly to the Regional Substitute Staffing Manager and is managed at the campus level for day-to-day assignments by the administrative assistant, campus principal and instructional lead team.

What We Offer

Compensation :

• 130 per day for Bachelor's strongly degreed subs. $110 per day for non-degreed substitute teachers. An increase in pay occurs when a substitute works a long-term assignments (+10 consecutive days on the same assignment) up to $200 per day.

In this role you will :

Follow substitute plans as indicated by administration or absent teacher.

Complete assigned professional development and compliance courses (synchronous or asynchronous) upon hire, and throughout the school year as needed.

Implement feedback received from campus leadership and / or Regional Substitute Staffing Manager

Work a minimum of 2 assignments per week

Work 5 days a week
