Business Development Officer

This is a remote position.

Overview

Nerdbug is a Software Development company dedicated to addressing tech-related business needs. We build applications, offer support and empower businesses with tech talents.

Our team consists of young, smart and enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about their work and are fun to work with!

We are currently seeking a Business Development Officer to join our team. We would like to get your application if you can :

  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and refine the sales strategy.
  • Schedule and conduct meetings with existing clients to discuss their needs and gather feedback.
  • Participate in conferences, seminars, and networking events to build industry relationships and explore partnership opportunities.
  • Engage with product development, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure alignment and share market insights.
  • Prepare and customize proposals based on client needs.
  • Stay updated on the latest sales techniques, software trends, and business development strategies.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions.
  • Clear portfolio of previous achievements as a salesperson.
  • Minimum of 2 years work experience in a similar role and previous experience as a Business Development Officer in a related industry (Fintech, Edutech, HealthTech, E-commerce, Real Estate).
  • Experience working in a fast-paced organization is an added advantage.
  • Proficient in integrated business management and CRM software.
  • Ability to research sales leads, present proposals, and negotiate deals.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • A go-getter with a drive for sales success.
