We’re actively seeking a talented Sr Salesforce Business Analyst to join our team in Newport Beach, CA or Omaha, NE. This role is hybrid. We believe in empowering our employees to get work done both in and out of the office.
As part of our team, you’ll be responsible for the Salesforce application and user experience for the Institutional Retirement Solution Group (IRSG). You’ll also train internal IRSG team members and key stakeholders in utilizing Salesforce CRM. Additionally, your role involves creating and maintaining reports and dashboards for the IRSG organization, as well as collaborating with Marketing to utilize Salesforce for creating marketing campaigns.
How you’ll help move us forward :
Salesforce Systems Analysis (60%)
Gather and understand business stakeholder needs. Work with key internal and external stakeholders to refine and build the IRSG experience for Salesforce.
Show your proficiency with the Salesforce platform, including ability to perform basic Salesforce configuration, lead development of Proof of Concept (POC) solutions, and demo software features and capabilities to stakeholders.
Support workflow management for all of the IRSG products in Salesforce.
Perform QA testing for iterative development cycles across various Salesforce projects.
Provide excellent operational support, including managing and supporting migration of data from spreadsheets and old databases into Salesforce, research and troubleshooting issues, and supporting new user onboarding and training.
Develop and document training guides, and obtain feedback from the IRSG team for pre and post-sale functions.
Continually look for opportunities to implement process efficiencies and streamline the Salesforce experience.
Work closely with Marketing for Salesforce marketing campaigns.
Business Intelligence within Salesforce (30%)
Build dashboards and reporting within Salesforce for the IRSG team to make data-driven business decisions.
Provide product and department level reports for internal reporting :
Monthly Sales Reports
Quarterly Business Review
Early trends, insights and pipeline reporting
Coordinate and provide reports to external requestors :
LIMRA
Consultant quarterly sales requests
Ad Hoc Projects (10%)
Assist and contribute to ad hoc projects as assigned by Manager, Director, Sr. Director or VP. (10%)
The experience you bring :
5+ years of experience in translating business needs into effective software solutions, in the role of a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst.
2+ years of hands-on experience building reports and dashboards.
2+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales or Service Clouds.
Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and multi task.
What makes you stand out :
Strong data and project management experience, and proficiency with related tools.
Insurance Industry experience, including knowledge of defined benefit and defined contribution plans.
Achieved or in the process of earning Salesforce certifications.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, finance or related field.

Base Pay Range :
The base pay range noted represents the company’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.
