We are seeking a Business Developer will be responsible for extending the reach of Clark Nexsen’s practice in the Charlotte market, through expert discovery and exploration of new and untapped business opportunities and relationships, as well as maintaining existing client and community relationships. The candidate will focus on market sector specific responsibilities and company-wide or cross-market sector pursuits and clients. Highly skilled at sales and business operations, this person will join and inspire teams to expand our business to achieve our company vision.

General responsibilities include but are not limited to the following :
- Represent the firm to clients and the community – may be market sector specific
- Pre-position the firm for specific pursuits
- Manage relationships with clients, competitors, partners, subconsultants, account management, and the client evaluation process
- Manage business development decisions and day-to-day program
- Mentor and train Seller-Doers and Business Development Coordinators as needed
- Contribute to Individual market sector strategic plansAnnual business development plans and policiesBenchmarking in designated markets, including competition, strategic intelligence, and market / industry trendsPrioritizing clients and opportunitiesClient and pursuit management plans aligning with company goalsInternal communication and distribution of business development information
