About the Role : Kistler is looking for a Business Development Specialist to drive sales growth and expand our market presence within the Infrastructure Business Unit (Traffic Solutions) in North America. You’ll be responsible for fostering strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering tailored solutions that meet or exceed sales targets. As a key contributor to the Infrastructure team, you’ll play a critical role in supporting the growth strategy and cementing Kistler’s position as an industry leader.
Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with the Head of Sales to develop and implement sales strategies aligned with business goals.
- Gain in-depth knowledge of Kistler’s products and market trends to offer expert guidance and tailored solutions.
- Drive business growth by meeting sales targets, managing key accounts (such as DOTs and integrators), and providing ongoing technical support. Collaborate on creating and executing strategies that support revenue goals in the Infrastructure and Traffic Solutions sectors.
- Conduct regular customer meetings to uncover opportunities and drive market expansion.
- Oversee the sales cycle, from proposals to closing, using the CRM system (SAP C4C) for tracking and reporting.
- Work with marketing on promotional activities, trade shows, and lead follow-up.
- Provide on-site support, including leadership or assistance with system installation, calibration, and commissioning.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned to support broader team goals.
