Do you get excited about owning relationships with Highly Recognized National clients and helping them make their visions come to life? Parkway Construction, a top 400 ENR firm with over 40 years in the construction industry has an immediate need for a Business Development Associate.
Our ideal Candidate :
Capable of developing a strategic plan to penetrate and grow a book of business
5+ years of networking / relationships in the construction industry
Knowledge of Commercial Market Segments / Sub-Segments / Project Type (Retail, Restaurant, Hotel, Healthcare - Ambulatory Services, etc.)
Successful track record of accessing how customer organizations are structured and positioning accordingly
Capable of producing inorganic prospects and properly pursuing opportunities
Ability to determine what the customer values and deliver value propositions that differentiate
Diligent at debriefing win / loss with customers and internal operations
Deep experience of presenting RFQ / RFP in interview settings with customers
Understands a service-based sales cycle (extended cycle)
Coordinates well across business functions with preconstruction and operations
Ability to write / coordinate RFP / RFQs and prepare for interviews
Ability travel nationally 25 -40% of the time.
Works well on teams
4 year degree in Business Administration, Construction Management or equivalent experience
Presentation skills that represent the company's core values.
This position is Based out of our corporate office in Lewisville TX but candidate must be able to travel
