Description
The Business Development Representative (BDR) plays a vital role in identifying potential customers, generating new business opportunities, and managing leads through the sales pipeline.
Key Functions and Job Responsibilities
- Generate and qualify leads through cold calling, emailing, and social media outreach.
- Schedule meetings and tours for the Mills James sales team with potential clients.
- Maintain and update customer information in the company's HubSpot system.
- Conduct market research to identify new leads and understand customer needs and interests in the production industry.
- Engage with prospects via phone and email to introduce them to the company's products or services.
- Follow up with leads who have been contacted in the past.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for targeting potential customers.
- Track and report on sales activities and goals.
- Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of Mills James services, industry trends, and competition.
- Handle objections and educate prospects on the benefits of the company's solutions.
- Participate in sales training and educational programs to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.
- Ensure compliance with sales processes and record-keeping requirements.
- Assist with the creation of sales materials, such as presentations and proposals.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets as established by the CSO.
- Provide feedback to marketing on lead generation quality.
