Job description
Position : Business Development Representative
Status : Full time – Exempt
Supervisor : Reports to Director of Business Development
Summary : The Business Development Representative is responsible for the execution of corporate growth strategies with support from the Business Unit Director, Business Units and Strategic partners to achieve short-and long-term business growth and objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Identify potential target accounts, develop approach and secure pipeline of clients to grow business in profitable, sustainable manner in line with specific mutually agreed upon objectives.
- Manage business opportunities in securing sales pipeline in line with short-and long-term financial goals.
- Manage feasibility and market studies, evaluate findings, and prepare information and recommendations for decision-making.
- Identify and drive opportunities to improve current business development processes and cross functional collaboration to continuously improve effectiveness and minimize redundancy.
- Drive and coordinate activities related to business development workforce capability and client / customer data management.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities for upselling, deal negotiations and finalization of contracts.
- Establish long-term relationships with potential clients / customers with the view to enhancing and grow business opportunities.
- Develop and manage FAE and account management team.
- Position will require travel within the US on a regular basis and limited travel to Taiwan and or / China for training and conferences.
Qualifications :
Work Environment : This role primarily operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. There will be occasional exposure to the shop environment.
