Description & Requirements Be part of something great Maximus is a global organisation that specialises in providing health and employment services to millions of people every year. Here in the UK we employ around 5,000 people across the country to deliver services that have a profound impact on people's lives. From assessments and health services to employability programmes and specialist support, we do work that matters with people who care. The Finance Business Partner will play a key role in driving financial insight and rigour across Operational Efficiency and Transformation initiatives. It is an exciting opportunity to work closely with business teams to initiate and deliver significant change projects and would suit someone motivated by applying financial expertise to a commercial environment. Bringing technical finance expertise and discipline, the Finance business partner will ensure accurate accounting treatment and financial reporting when it comes to leading the financial elements of transformation or change business cases, developing dynamic financial models that account for costs (Capex and Opex), quantification of benefits and assess key financial metrics such as Return on Investment (ROI) and payback period. This role is critical in ensuring financial accountability and informed decision making in operational and strategic initiatives. Reporting to the UK Financial Controller but working closely with the Operational and Transformation teams on a day-to-day basis, this role will provide financial acumen and support in quantifying the impact of operational improvements. A key responsibility will be ensuring that the effectiveness of initiatives - whether through cost avoidance or profit improvement - is clearly measured and understood within the context of specific business areas where such change may occur. In addition, this role will also bring strategic finance scenario analysis support to the business in helping to shape and bring finance acumen across the business area. Salary - £63,000 to £68,000 Home Based or hybrid options available. If hybrid, applicants would need to be based near London or Leicester. For home based employees, as a guide there may be 1 day of travel per week, likely to the London office.
