Become a Key Player as a Business Intelligence & AI Platform Administrator

You will administer and evolve enterprise BI, analytics, and AI platforms to enable self-service reporting and conversational/agentic analytics. You will partner with Data Engineering, AI teams, and business stakeholders (Sales, Finance, HR, Operations) to ensure Databricks-led lakehouse architectures feed trusted semantic layers. This is a Hybrid role San Jose, CA (also open to Lehi, UT).

Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team

Own the Databricks Lakehouse (clusters, jobs, SQL warehouses, Unity Catalog) and integrate it as the primary data source for BI and AI workloads
Enable AI workflows in Databricks: data prep, semantic/serving layers, model serving, RAG, and agent frameworks that power natural-language analytics
Design and govern semantic models, certified datasets, metrics, definitions, and a data glossary for self-service analytics
Administer Power BI, Tableau, and Microsoft Fabric (capacity, gateways, security, content lifecycle, licensing) and integrate conversational analytics tools
Integrate BI and conversational experiences into collaboration surfaces (Slack, Microsoft Teams, Claude, custom portals) so users can query data where they work
Maintain connectivity, security, and performance across SAP HANA, SQL Server, MySQL, AWS Redshift, and other sources
Monitor platform health, lead upgrades and onboarding of new technologies, and provide technical support and training to analysts and business users

Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role

58 years administering enterprise BI/analytics platforms with hands-on Power BI and Tableau experience (Fabric a plus)
Deep Databricks experience: clusters, jobs, Unity Catalog, Databricks SQL, and lakehouse architecture
Experience using Databricks to enable AI/ML and agentic workflows (model serving, RAG, agent frameworks)
Experience enabling conversational/agentic analytics (Power BI Copilot/Q&A, Tableau Pulse/Ask Data) and governing AI agents
Solid understanding of LLMs, RAG, vector search, and agent frameworks
Strong SQL, dimensional/semantic modeling, metadata management, and data warehousing skills
Proficiency with Python (and/or R, Jupyter), scripting for automation, and cloud experience (AWS and/or Azure)
Working knowledge of SAP HANA and querying experience with SQL Server, MySQL, and AWS Redshift
Experience with platform upgrades/migrations and working in Agile, cross-functional teams
Strong troubleshooting, end-user support, and BI security/governance skills
