Job Overview :
Search Solution Group is seeking a Business Development Manager on behalf of our client, a leading provider of 10-year new home warranties. This position is responsible for driving new business growth by prospecting, building relationships with builders, and ultimately securing new warranty contracts. This role is vital for expanding the company's market share and solidifying its position as a top warranty provider.
Key Responsibilities :
Prospect for new clients through various channels (internet, phone, social media).
Conduct virtual cold calls and build a robust pipeline of opportunities.
Identify key decision-makers within potential client organizations.
Research and cultivate relationships with new clients.
Schedule and conduct virtual meetings with client decision-makers.
Develop compelling presentations and pitches to address client needs and overcome objections.
Collaborate on pricing solutions.
Negotiate contracts and close deals.
Present new products and services to existing clients to enhance relationships and retention.
Support industry events and gather market intelligence.
Identify opportunities for new campaigns and distribution channels.
Develop the company's unique selling propositions and differentiators.
Submit weekly progress reports.
Manage data within the CRM (Salesforce).
Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met.
Track daily activity and contribute to closing deals.
Conduct business development training and mentoring for builder client staff.
Maintain a thorough understanding of the company's capabilities and goals. Requirements :
Education : Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
Experience : 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, preferably within the construction, real estate, or insurance industries. Skills :
Proven track record of successful lead generation and closing deals.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce preferred).
Strong understanding of the sales process.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge : Knowledge of the construction industry and home warranty products is a plus.

This is a full-time position located in Matthews, NC.
