Description
Objective
The HRBP is responsible for the oversight of all aspects of the Human Resource department, including policies, procedures, and benefits for the company. Leading efforts for recruiting, onboarding, payroll, benefits, training, employee relations, performance management and employee rewards to ensure top performance and retention of strong performers. Ensures compliance with state and federal employment law while supporting the companies' values, and culture. Maintains confidentiality of all privileged information.
Essential Responsibilities
- Lead and direct the Human Resources department and team in supporting the employees and managers to success.
- Manage and hold all HR positions accountable and support their work efforts and responsibilities.
- Advise leadership on best practices in all areas of HR to promote a positive work environment. Providing insight and options compliant and consistent with company philosophies, policies, and culture.
- Develops and is responsible for maintaining employee policies, procedures, and practices.
- Establish internal policies and controls of all HR programs and processes.
- Assists and supports the accurate execution of semi-monthly payroll.
- Manage all health benefits including medical and prescription drug, dental, vision, and supplemental policies.
- Maintain benefit broker relationship and coordinate all aspects of benefit plans, annual rebids, and open enrollment. Recommend benefit programs to management; directing the processing of benefit claims; obtaining and evaluating benefit contract bids; awarding benefit contracts; designing and conducting educational programs on available benefits for employees.
- Maintain compliance with ACA regulations.
- Administer the company 401(k) plan and ensure compliance with federal regulations.
- Execute and manage the performance evaluation process, including training and coaching managers to ensure fairness and efficiency in the process.
- Investigate, document, and resolve employee relations issues and grievances.
- Support management of workers' compensation claims and reporting.
- Monitor Human Resource metrics and make recommendations for leadership on identified trends.
- Coach managers in workforce planning, recruiting, and staffing.
- Ensure continuous and comprehensive training and development for staff.
- Maintains a fair and competitive compensation structure.
- Ensure all mandated reporting is complete in an accurate, thorough, and timely manner.
- Ensures legal compliance with all federal and state laws by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements.
- Seek and secures legal advice when necessary.
- Support periodic review and revision of the organization's employee handbook.
- Ensure employee records are complete, accurate, and confidential.
- Oversee the exit process and make recommendations based on identified trends.

Must have the physical and mental strength and endurance to be able to perform duties, in at times extreme environments, as well as the ability to manage stressors of the position in operational and administrative situations. Required to frequently lift and move ten - twenty-five pounds. Expected to stand, sit, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear, taste, smell, see, and operate objects, tools, and controls.
