This is a brilliant time to be joining the Arm Procurement team. We are in the middle of a significant transformation and are handling a supply network of close to $1bn in indirect spend. We are investing in the latest Procurement technology and constantly evolving how we work as we get the right third party partnerships, for our internal customers.

Job Overview :

We are looking for energetic and commercially minded Procurement Business Partners who enjoy working in a collaborative and influential way. Our Business Partners are the bridge between the Procurement team and our customers, understanding what they need and supporting them as we source the best solutions aligned to their roadmaps.

Responsibilities :

You will be working in Procurement but facing into a group of business functions, you will need to develop influential relationships and apply your procurement expertise to guide how Arm works with suppliers of crucial services, across our supply network. Our aim is that we grow additional value from our supplier engagements, in all its forms!

  • Provide your customers in your assigned business functions with a clear view of their contract landscape and how it aligns to the procurement business partnering strategy and procurement category plans. You will deliver a customer-centric procurement service that is aligned with Procurement’s own objectives.
  • Proactive planning and demand management aligned to the long term plans and priorities for the business area, find opportunities in the supplier base to get more value, whether that is in cost, quality, service, risk reduction, innovation or ESG impacts.
  • Use the best external market commercial and operational practices to inform opportunity development and implementation.
  • Act as an advisor to the business in all things related to third party spend, procurement processes, systems, policies, procedures, market dynamics, opportunities and supply chain risk.
  • Work with your business functions to manage relationships with suppliers, including conducting regular reviews of key supplier contracts to ensure continued commercial value is being achieved.
  • Support the creation and implementation of category plans, and contracting talks, with the Procurement Delivery Team.
  • Project management, and as the need arises, delivery of sourcing initiatives that could involve elements of organisational change.
  • Engage with Finance Business Partners, providing input into the budgeting process and to quantify savings.
  • Support delivery of the responsible procurement strategy by embracing practices as set out in the strategy.
  • Identify and implement improvements, which contribute to the evolution and overall success of the Group Procurement at Arm.
  • Demonstrate and embed DEI behaviours and practices in your ways of working and engagement with customers, team members and suppliers.

Required Skills and Experience :

  • Strong understanding of procurement lifecycle concepts and procedures, how they fit together.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as part of a remote team, identifying own objectives and ensuring the highest standards of delivery.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills at all levels both internally and externally.
  • Contract Law and experience managing supplier performance.
  • Strong reporting and presentation experience.
  • Procurement Project management experience.
  • Management of the Supply Network, at a strategic level.
  • Nice To Have” Skills and Experience :

  • CIPS Professional Qualifications.

    Salary Range :
