Job Description :
The UAV Systems Technician will be responsible for the assembly, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of UAV systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with UAV hardware and software, possess strong problem-solving skills, and be comfortable working with Linux command line interfaces for system diagnostics and configuration.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assemble, configure, and test UAV systems, ensuring they meet operational requirements.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on UAV hardware, including motors, sensors, and communication systems.
- Operate UAVs in test environments and assist in field operations as needed.
- Use Linux command line tools for system diagnostics, file management, and basic networking tasks.
- Debug and troubleshoot software issues using diagnostic tools and logs.
- Debug and troubleshoot hardware issues using electrical measurement bench top equipment.
- Work with development teams to install and test firmware, software updates, and new features.
- Assist in configuring communication links and sensors, ensuring proper integration with UAV systems.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance, troubleshooting, and test results.
- Follow safety protocols and industry best practices in all aspects of UAV operation and maintenance.
