Purpose of the role The Manager Supply Management coordinates the procurement strategies related to CAPEX, FM, MRO at NAM region level, supporting as well as HR, IST/IT and professional services categories in NAM. Supports goals achievement by securing supply, providing significant year-on-year cost improvements while meeting financial and budget targets. Implement demand, productivity and innovative improvements while maintaining product quality and managing vendor service levels. Interact with internal and external key stakeholders to develop effective cost reduction strategies and implementation plans. Manage an effective interaction and collaboration with Business Partnering, Sustainable Procurement, Center of Excellence and Operational Procurement teams.

Responsibilities Support/Coordinate the development of and deploy procurement strategies related to the assigned categories. Follows alignment to priorities and performance goals, executes the strategy and implement strategic procurement efforts and innovation in specific categories as necessary and appropriate. Deploy sourcing best practices globally and ensure they are widely adopted Follow strategy implementation. Track and trace forecasted performance vs. actual savings for the categories. Assist to find solutions to mitigate any supply risk Represent sourcing categories with Group stakeholders. Communicate sourcing market trends/results for categories to key stakeholders. Work with finance stakeholders to ensure savings are built and measurable into budgets and the annual operating plan. Support the sourcing team to be actively engaged in core business processes. Provide regional/local budget input on market effect, standards and productivity initiatives impacting costs Participate in the process to select and monitor suppliers. Coordinate the supplier selection and negotiation process for key sourcing teams and overall management of the strategic suppliers to the group. Lead regional/ local sourcing strategies in alignment with the global category strategy and oversee sourcing events Maintain expertise in the categories of spend. Remain updated with market trends through relationships with Supply Managers, suppliers and market experts, and ensure that we have a process to gain access/familiarity with emerging supplier capabilities Execute the Group Sustainability Targets and the sourcing strategies include Sustainable Engineering Ensure compliance with internal and external policies, regulations, contracts management and laws, as well as monitoring suppliers quality, risk and compliance Coordinate the Category Strategy Planning: Mobilize teaming, Collect category insights (with Analytics) & create category profiles, Identify opportunities & prioritize projects (with Business Partner) and Create category and buying channel strategy.

Skills & Competencies Technical / Functional Skills Strong understanding of procurement and strategic sourcing processes, including category management and supplier lifecycle management Experience managing indirect spend categories such as CAPEX, MRO, Facilities Management, and/or Professional Services Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments is a strong plus, with exposure to plant operations and related stakeholders Experience managing significant spend portfolios (e.g., ~40M or similar scale) across multiple categories Ability to develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with business and financial objectives Solid negotiation and contract management skills, with demonstrated ability to deliver cost savings and value creation Capability to analyze market trends, supplier landscapes, and cost structures to support decision-making Experience in budget planning, cost tracking, and savings validation in collaboration with Finance Familiarity with risk management and supply continuity strategies Knowledge of sustainability practices in procurement is a plus Core Competencies Project Leadership: Ability to lead end-to-end procurement initiatives, drive execution, and ensure delivery in complex, cross-functional environments Stakeholder Management & Influence: Strong ability to engage, challenge, and influence stakeholders across plants, regional teams, and headquarters Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization Business Acumen: Understanding of industrial/manufacturing environments and how procurement impacts operations and financial performance Problem Solving & Resilience: Ability to navigate ambiguity, overcome roadblocks, and drive solutions in challenging situations Collaboration & Teamwork: Ability to work effectively within cross-functional and international teams Continuous Improvement Mindset: Proactive approach to identifying opportunities for productivity, innovation, and efficiency Adaptability & Learning Agility: Willingness and ability to quickly learn new categories and adapt to evolving business needs Leadership Behaviors Drives Results: Takes ownership of objectives and delivers measurable outcomes Challenges the Status Quo: Confidently pushes back when needed and proposes better solutions Customer & Stakeholder Focus: Acts with a strong service mindset toward internal stakeholders Curiosity & Growth Orientation: Demonstrates eagerness to learn and grow within the procurement function Accountability: Takes responsibility for decisions and outcomes
