A Buyer / Planner is needed for a medical technology company focused on the repair, regeneration and replacement of soft and hard tissue in the Memphis, TN area. We are seeking a Planner to manage inventory, project coordination, and business analysis while optimizing material and labor utilization.

responsibilities :

• Establish and maintain production material inventory and purchase plan to support the master schedule
• Maintain contact with Production, Production Planning, Supply Chain, Quality, Procurement, Accounts Payable, and other departments
• Monitor the status of all raw materials and purchased component shortages affecting production lines
• Execute purchase orders and changes to ensure optimum delivery of materials in economic lots
• Ensure availability of purchased materials to support the production plan while maintaining inventory within budgeted limits
• Coordinate the timely resolution of rejected purchased materials
• Actively participate in projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Skills and Experience Needed :

Medium-level proficiency in Excel and Word

Knowledge / experience with purchasing tools (SAP preferred)
