  • Saturday : 6 : 00 AM - 2 : 30 PM
  • Job Description :
  • Custom fabrication of exhibit components utilizing wood, plastic, laminates, and metal
  • Finish carpenter and custom cabinet builder
  • Fabricate exhibit and tradeshow booths under the direction of the Shop Manager
  • Work with the Shop Manager on assigned fabrication projects to support exhibit assets
  • Assist with exhibit development and lead the carpentry aspect of the fabrication process
  • Construct carts and / or crates to ensure the safe transportation of exhibitions
  • Adaptability and ability to change priorities as they dynamically shift
  • Handle heights as necessary; ladder work is common
  • Carry heavy equipment manually or using necessary equipment as applicable
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
  • Skills Required :
  • 2+ years of experience in fabrication using wood, plastic, and metal, or related work; being a talented hobbyist counts
  • Ability to perform physical activities such as lifting equipment, bending, standing, climbing, or walking
  • Must have own basic carpentry tools
  • Proficiency in various finished work such as laminate, melamine, and moldings
  • Ability to read and understand CAD drawings, blueprints, and diagrams, and adhere to quality building standards and specifications
  • Basic knowledge of math and measurements
