Plate Maker

Printpack is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Plate Maker for the Converting plant in Grand Prairie, TX. The Plate Maker is responsible for operating and maintaining plate making equipment to produce high-quality flexographic plates for printing operations. This position requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to follow precise specifications while meeting production deadlines. This position reports to the Prepress Supervisor / Manager. This will be a 2nd shift position (3pm-11pm, Mon - Fri).

Key Responsibilities :

• Operate plate making system following written instructions
• Monitor and manage plate production activities
• Perform quality checks and measurements
• Troubleshoot equipment issues
• Verify accuracy of designs and documentation
• Perform mathematical calculations
• Use precise measuring instruments
• Maintain equipment and work area
• Complete required documentation
• Support press department needs
• Other duties as assigned
