• AECOM
• Honolulu is currently seeking a CAD Specialist III to support our civil infrastructure team. This role is located on a client jobsite and is not a telecommute / remote position.
• This person will be responsible for but not limited to the following :
• Performs CADD assignments and coordinates CADD drawing production in support of the CADD or project manager
• Ability to take general direction and simple sketches from engineers to then develop design criteria and progress through all stages of design.
• Performs advanced applications, scale and edit assignments involving the use of Computer aided design and drafting equipment and other graphics software (e.g. CADD software) to achieve set results and deadlines
• Digitize or trace sketches or concepts from designers using CADD software, such as AutoCAD or MicroStation
• Make decisions with general understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve general results and deadlines
• Understands the implications of work and makes recommendations for solutions.
• Determines methods and procedures on new assignments
• Meeting with clients for project reviews, ongoing design review, and project close out.
• Ability to work independently, with limited supervision
• Performs both routine and non-routine, complex design assignments that require judgment in resolving issues or making recommendations.
• Qualifications
• Minimum Requirements
• BA / BS + 4 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and / or education
• U.S. Citizenship required, due to the nature of the work
• Preferred Requirements
• Software experience with : AutoCAD ,MicroStation, Autodesk Civil3D, BIM360, ProjectWise, Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong technical progression within civil engineering and design.
• Comprehensive knowledge of industry standards
• Project field experience

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $65,000.00 - $90,000.00.
