CAD Engineers act as support resources for ISCO personnel and our customers.

Essential Duties

• Specify and create CAD drawings for custom-fabricated assemblies and manufactured items based on various information sources.
• Communicate design requirements with internal and external customers to ensure specified design intent is met.
• Develop understanding of fabrication techniques and capabilities to be able to provide unique custom solutions.
• Respond to technical questions about material properties and applications posed via telephone and / or e-mail
• Manage drawing projects related to customer orders and internal process documentation.
• Estimate the cost of custom fabrication in order to facilitate the sales quotation process.
• Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications.
• Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications.
• Review quality issues from technical perspective, discuss with sales and quality department.
• Identify and execute improvement projects to advance the performance of CAD department and / or its team members.
• Perform other tasks as needed.
