We're looking for a CAD Technician to join our Transportation team at our Overland Park location (in office). This individual will assist with the design of a variety of projects that may include streets and intersections, bridge designs and rehabs, pavement management, highways and roadways, interchanges, urban arterials, rural roads, pedestrian trails, roundabouts, and more.

Responsibilities:

• Provide drafting support to engineers and designers for DOT, municipal, and county-related transportation projects.
• Create drawings based on input from designers and engineers.
• Incorporate redline changes into existing drawings as directed by designers and engineers.
• Assist the project team in meeting client expectations and schedules.

Requirements:

• 1-3+ years of experience with Autodesk products.
• Experience with Civil 3D and/or MicroStation products (OpenRoads, InRoads, or Geopak) is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to drawing standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Desire to be part of a team-oriented culture.
• Excellent time management skills.
