Job descriptionProficiency in CAD and SolidWorks software. Educational Background - EE (Electrical Engineering) Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in technical plans. Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team. Experience in electrical engineering or related technical field is highly beneficial, with preference given to candidates having AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical experience. An associate degree in a technical field is preferred but not mandatory beyond a high school diploma.

Job Summary :
As a CAD Electrical Design Technician, you'll be pivotal in creating precise technical drawings and schematics for a wide range of electrical systems and components using CAD software. The role involves translating engineering designs into detailed plans, ensuring thoroughness and compliance with industry standards, and collaborating effectively with interdisciplinary teams to meet project deliverables. Your contributions will support our mission to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer through innovative solutions in life sciences research, patient diagnostics, and more.
Key Responsibilities :
- Create and prepare detailed technical drawings, including wiring diagrams and layout drawings for electrical equipment and facilities, using CAD software.
- Translate rough sketches and design concepts from engineers into coherent, detailed technical drafts.
- Accurately specify details such as dimensions, materials, and procedures in drawings.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure design requirements are met and to resolve any design issues.
- Ensure all technical drawings are accurate, easy to read, and compliant with industry standards; organize and document complete drawing sets for review.
