Call center director Jobs in Chesapeake, VA

This role is typically 36 hours / week. It is an Evening / Nights position that provides rotating shift coverage, typically from 2 : 00 PM to 10 : 00 PM as well as 10 : 00 PM to 6 : 00 AM to include weeknights and weekends.

GENERAL SUMMARY

The Call Center Representative is responsible for marketing the hospital’s services to potential clients through telephone inquiries. Reports to the Call Center Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides inbound and outbound customer service communication utilizing complex telecommunication equipment.

Facilitates referral of callers to appropriate health care providers.

Facilitates, identifies and responds to code situations.

Performs multifaceted administrative, clerical assignments for the call center.

Performs other duties as assigned.

LICENSES AND / OR CERTIFICATIONS

None required

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

At least one year in a related field.

Must have excellent telephone skills and computer skills.

Excellent skills in oral and written communication.

Ability to interact effectively with all levels of hospital staff and the community.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature and the like.
