JOB TITLE : Pre-Caller
REPORTS TO : Clinical Director / Registered Nursed / Physicians
FLSA STATUS : Non-Exempt
JOB SUMMARY :
The Pre-Caller is responsible for contacting patients prior to their scheduled procedures to review medical and preparation information, ensure all documentation is complete, and promote patient readiness for their upcoming appointment. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and professionalism in patient interactions. The Pre-Caller functions cooperatively with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff to support smooth clinical operations and enhance patient satisfaction.
QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION :
- High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assistant or healthcare experience preferred.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a medical office or clinical setting.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, patient scheduling systems, and EMR documentation.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Basic understanding of GI procedures and preparation guidelines preferred.
- Maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (preferred).
