Gretchen's House Child Care Centers are now accepting applications for a full time (40 hour / week) Lead Summer Camp Counselor at our Traver Road location in Ann Arbor, MI. Camp runs from June 16th - August 22nd . This is a Monday through Friday day camp, with 7 : 45-5 : 15 hours of operation.
Remember the lazy days of summer, when you played outdoors with friends? There were other days you visited special places around town with your brother or sister or just hung out in the backyard. For over 40 years, Gretchen's House Summer Camp has provided 5-11 year old children with opportunities to explore a variety of interests and activities, at their home base and in the local community. It's the summer experience kids remember forever, and adults wish they could recapture. Fun Stuff!
Requirements :
- BA in Early Childhood, Elementary Education or closely related field
- Supervisory experience
- Experience working in a K-5th grade summer camp setting
- Must be available to work the entire 10- week program from June 16th - August 22nd along with training the week of June 9th.
- Immunization requirements : MMR, Tdap, Hep B, Varicella, Covid-19 with up-to-date booster
