Position Overview
An IDEAS Summer Day Camp Counselor will daily implement a supplied day camp curriculum using supplied materials for a small group of campers ages 3-12. Counselors lead a wide variety of camp activities and classes, while being responsible for the safety, enjoyment, and emotional well being of every IDEAS summer camper.
IDEAS Summer Day Camp Counselors will benefit from the following amenities :

- NO WEEKENDS! Full-time (40 hrs / week) Monday - Friday schedules
- FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE
Requiring as few as three contracted weeks, we will work with your busy summer schedule! (i.e. vacations can be accommodated)

Paid pre-season training as well as on the job training / mentorship

Position Details
Job Type : Full-Time Seasonal
Job Location : IDEAS Summer Day Camps are hosted at Xavier University.
Job Description : An IDEAS Summer Day Camp Counselor, while leading a wide variety of camp activities and classes, is responsible for the safety, enjoyment, and emotional well-being of every IDEAS summer camper. Counselors rely on supplied curriculum and materials to guide daily camper activities.
Hourly Pay Rate : 13.95
Anticipated Work Hours Per Week : 35-40
Schedule : Camp operates Monday - Friday, 7 : 30 a.m. to 5 : 30 p.m.
Camp Dates : June 2 - July 25
Must be able to attend required training : In-person PAID training on Saturday, May 31 & Sunday, June 1 from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
