Job description
A company is looking for a Certified Tumor Cancer Registry Tech. Key Responsibilities Identify and collect cancer cases from various medical sources Abstract and code cancer data accurately to ensure compliance with regulatory standards Enter and maintain cancer registry data in designated databases Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED with four years of experience in multi-EMR applications, or an Associate's degree with one year of recent abstracting experience Certification as a Tumor Registrar (CT CTR) is required Thorough knowledge of cancer registry processes and procedures Strong understanding of cancer diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Workspace, and registry software within 60 days of hire
