Job description

Description

The Packaging attendant is primarily responsible for the packaging and labeling of finished product in addition to : inventory cycle counting, tracking and distribution of product, quality control for packaging and finished products, tracking waste and ensuring strict compliance with company policies and procedures. This role requires significant attention to detail, as there are multiple different batch numbers per product that must be sorted through and counted in addition to ensuring that product labels are filled out correctly and are compliant with state regulations.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Adheres to all CCD regulations.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Work collectively and respectfully with other team members.
  • Monitors and maintains current inventory levels.
  • Maintains database of current product inventory and adjusts balances as needed.
  • Packaging of finished products.
  • Labeling of finished products with strict attention to detail.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
  • Makes sure the inventory is stocked and organized at all times.
  • Maintains full knowledge of systematic processes, like bin movements, adjustments in and out, product research, etc.
  • Maintain a positive attitude that promotes teamwork.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development opportunities.
  • Additional duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 21 years of age and authorized to work in the US.
  • ANSI accredited Food handler's certification
  • reliable transportation.
  • If necessary, ability to work 7 days per week and to be flexible with schedule.
  • Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and / or services ordering and inventory control.
  • Past inventory experience preferred.
  • Database and time management skills.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems or research inventory losses.
  • Attention to detail is required.
  • Ability to receive, stock, and / or deliver goods.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, etc. and good computer skills preferred.
  • Trustworthy, Punctual with great written and verbal skills.
  • A high level of internal and external customer service preferred.
  • Willingness to be flexible with overall workload that can change from week to week
  • Ability to manage high-stress situations and to be flexible and adaptable when a situation requires it.
  • Proper employment documentation and authorized to work in the US.

  • Throughout extended periods must be capable of sitting, squatting, standing, kneeling, bending, or walking throughout the workday. Must be capable of working in front of a computer for extended periods of time based on job duties listed above.
  • Must have the ability to push, pull, or lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
