Flow Distribution is seeking a Lab Extractor to assist with various tasks in our busy cannabis extraction lab. This position will be able to work quickly and efficiently while also multitasking. The Extraction Technician will extract raw cannabis plant material. The candidate will be able to multitask, work quickly and efficiently, and possess the ability to change priorities and tasks as needed. Responsibilities will include carrying out laboratory extraction production, intake of raw material, tracking material quantities in CTS system, troubleshooting and resolving problems, maintaining logs and records, maintaining glassware, grinding and packing material, daily lab cleanup, and more.

• Operates hydrocarbon extractor and creates various forms of cannabis extracts while meeting or exceeding production goals
• Consistently follows Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and all safety guidelines
• Intakes and processes raw cannabis material into crude or concentrate.
• General housekeeping in the extraction room
• Documents data by creating and maintaining accurate batch records.
• Secondary cannabinoid processing : prepare cannabinoid concentrate for specific secondary refining processes.
• Navigate Cannabis Tracking System (CTS) and execute common commands for a given project.
• Keeps equipment operational by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns, and performing preventive maintenance.
• Keeps laboratory inventory in stock by placing orders and verifying receipts.
• Resolves problems by examining and evaluating data, selecting corrective steps.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
• Enhances laboratory and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
• Maintains glassware by picking-up, cleaning, washing, sterilizing, and organizing.
• Follows all AZDHS regulations related to this position

QUALIFICATIONS :

Experience operating hydrocarbon extractor

Knowledge of Chemistry Techniques, Lab Environment, Solvent Extraction, Cryogenic Procedures, Record Keeping, Data Tracking, Safe Lab Practices, Equipment Calibration and Maintenance, Chemical Safety

Has cannabis knowledge and knows chemical properties of cannabinoids.

Must have reliable transportation.

Must be 21 years of age and authorized to work in the US with proper employment documentation.

Must have or be willing to obtain a Facility Agent Card through AZDHS

Must have weekend availability.

Pay : Dependent upon experience

Expected hours : 40.00 per week

SCHEDULE :

Night Shift

Monday to Friday

2pm - 10pm

Weekends as needed

Work Location : In person
